At this point there is no real off ramp to the war. People get hung up on what Trump says, but really the USA and Iran are tangled up in each other's business. Now that Trump has turned that into open war, it will be hard to undo this. This is not like Russia and Ukraine where Russia just needs to pull back it its own borders and that war would be over. This is the IRGC is going to stay up in the USA's business even if Trump pulled out tomorrow and is going to keep the war going whether the USA fights back or not.
