  1. It's no wonder the mosquitoes are so massive and their bites are incredibly painful. Male mosquitoes don't bite so Something went lopsided. Did the research accounts for all negative factors including unintended, long-term or indirect consequences? Is it valid to claim Universal Understanding?

  2. The challenges of using wolbachia males are timing and proximity of mating that wlid males have.
    The females start to mate as soon as they leave the water, and its's reproductive system is ready, which can be immediate with a male from the same batch of eggs in the same pool of water.

    The proximity of both females and males is very much closer than any released wolbachia male.

    Once the female has mated, it will not mate again throughout her life. So regardless of the amount of wolbachia males released, most of them do not have the advantage to mate with a virgin female.

    Furthermore, the wolbachia male lifespan is around 4 to 10days with 50% living up to 4 days only.
    It takes 7 to 10days from egg to adult, which means that by the time the wolbachia male is able to mate with a virgin female, 50% would have already die.

    In my opinion, with all these disadvantages, I think that the wolbachia males will fight a losing battle.

    A better alternative would likely be needed.
