US and Germany Authorize Ukraine to Use Supplied Weapons for Strikes Inside Russia

Date:

Ukraine’s recent military incursion into the Russian border region of Kursk marks a significant tactical shift in the ongoing conflict, representing the first sustained ground offensive inside Russian territory by regular Ukrainian forces. The surprise operation aims to divert Russian military resources from the eastern front, establish a strategic buffer zone, and strengthen Kyiv’s leverage in future diplomatic negotiations. While the advance has successfully captured territory and boosted domestic morale, it also presents substantial risks, particularly concerning the potential vulnerability of Ukraine’s defensive lines in the Donbas region.

  • Ukrainian forces launched a surprise cross-border assault into Russia’s Kursk region, securing control over multiple settlements and taking numerous Russian service members prisoner.
  • The operation represents the first major foreign military incursion into sovereign Russian territory since World War II.
  • In response to the incursion, Russian authorities declared a federal state of emergency and evacuated over 100,000 civilians from the affected border zones.
  • Military analysts indicate the offensive’s primary strategic goal is to force Russia to redeploy troops away from active advance points in eastern Ukraine, such as Pokrovsk.
  • International partners have acknowledged Ukraine’s right to self-defense, though discussions continue regarding the boundaries and use of Western-provided weaponry inside Russian borders.

  1. for your information. Beletskiy – is a founder of neo na$i organization Azov, which was later reformed to military unit. He's education is history teacher, who studied Ukr nationalism in 1940-s. Clearly na$i ideology person. Now gives advises to German channel…. This is true harmony my friends.

  2. Maybe that's why Russia is talking about another mobilization, but most likely the war will be decided within a year. Ukraine needs to continue targeting Moscow, it wake up the average Russian to the truth of the war.

  3. The reverse is true as well; Russia is starting a series of New rounds of Kyiv Heavy bombings. whether the Ukraine army and elites withstand that is questionable. The Ukrainian army is brave whether they are capable of chasing the Russians out of their country is highly questionable, good luck. Looks like the war will continue and your country now is in a HUGE mess, and it NOT all due to the Russians alone. Don't try to convince me otherwise I follow this war very closely.
