Russia is importing refined oil now. They're rationing gas. Their economy is largely based on exporting oil. Yes, the strategy of hitting their oil industry is having an effect. It will affect their ability to fund their military. The drones are also taking out logistical supply lines. They say infantry wins battles, but logistics wins wars.
The Russians are in an unsustainable situation. They already were before the drone campaigns took off. They're losing too many men, too much equipment, too many resources to justify their tiny and basically meaningless territorial gains. They're never going to be in a situation where what they can gain is going to be worth what it costs them to gain it. It's an unwinnable war.
Russia can walk away from this war because they're trying to conquer land that isn't worth it for them. Ukraine, on the other hand, is fighting for survival.
