US-China Differences Remain Unresolved Following High-Level Talks

Date:

High-level diplomatic discussions between the United States and China have concluded without resolving fundamental strategic and economic differences between the two nations. While both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining open channels of communication to manage competition and prevent conflict, significant disagreements persist over key issues, including trade policies, technology export restrictions, and regional security. Analysts note that while these engagements help stabilize bilateral relations, core structural tensions between Washington and Beijing remain unaddressed.

  • Fundamental differences remain unresolved regarding economic policy, technology transfers, and strategic security concerns.

  1. All I see in the ASEAN Foreign Minister Meeting are just posturing…..The relationship between the US and China will only get worst not better……Most of the top decision makers today, albeit brilliant and from top US Universities are disciples of the Wolfowitz Doctrine where US world primacy is cast in stone. There is no way this is gonna change. The rising power, China is not only a threat now but fast becoming an existential threat. The US economy is mired in a massive and uncontrollable debt spiral.. De-dollarization , which to me is self-inflicted, is fast gaining momentum….and the last savior of the US economy, Ai, where American MNC invested trillions with debts, hoping to reap a bountiful harvest with their proprietary Ai is again being under-mined by the Chinese open sourced Ai which are just as good and much cheaper too. If the Ai bubble were to burst in the US it will be a another devastating blow to its already frailing economy that is again mainly funded by debts. Therefore, the only option left is its omnipotent military…..In short, bleak….

  2. Why don't tell the truth ?
This is not an "unresolved" issue; rather, it is a case of the United States wanting to dominate everything.
    China : Win-Win , common prosperity.
USA : Zero sum game, dominate.

A "Zero Sum Game" is a concept from game theory, which analyzes competitive interactions where one party's gain is directly offset by another party's loss. This concept suggests that resources are finite, and individuals or groups are in constant competition for them—be it money, power, or status.

  3. "Australia Institute’s International and Security Affairs Program"
–> Australia and the United States are core members of the Five Eyes (FVEY) intelligence-sharing alliance, which also includes the UK, Canada, and New Zealand. Stemming from the post-WWII UKUSA Agreement, the two nations share a vast network of signals intelligence, cybersecurity, and national security data to counter foreign espionage, terrorism, and emerging threats.

  4. I saw a speech by George Yeo and he hit the bullseye’s when he said America has zero goodwill towards China and only wishes for the country’s end. How America was formed is from pure evil masquerading as Christians spreading the Good News. 250 years and only less than 2 decades without war is clear it’s the serpent from Eden spewing lies, hatred and sufferings to mankind.
