This has been my estimation of Iran although I am not optimistic about the outcome. Trump keeps panicking about gas prices affecting polls back home, now he's started the war he has to eat the consequences; we all have to yet he refuses to accept it. Call the war unjust or unprovoked it doesn't matter, the rest of the world is going to spend 100s of billions derisking its trade in the region and moving away from oil. The strait as a card has a timer but its up the the American leadership to show some resolve for once and wait this pain out. The MOU alone has probably prolonged this war another 6 months, Trump's regime are the worst negotiators I've seen and need to stop signing agreements they cannot keep.
