  1. Guy mentions Faith but means slavers
Isnt this the guy the CIA used in Latin America in the 50s and 60s as an underground network of spies to destabilize those countries under the guise of Religious Outreach.

  2. Graham and Sponsored by United Healthcare? Oh 60 min you’ve sunk! Did anyone watch the Daily Show this past Monday? Mr. Graham seems to be against the constitution when he says at CPAC that Dear Leader should be re-elected (to a third term?!).

  3. Hasn't "60 Minutes" been running on life support (subsidies) for decades? I have to be reminded that they are still around. There is far better journalism elsewhere.

  4. This particular 1 min comment was perfectly fine. It is too bad that Franklin Graham's association with Trump has completely overriden Franklin's Christian ministry. I watched this to see if Franklin turned this into an advertisement for Trump and MAGA as he has on other occasions. He did not do that here. Faith and Faith in Christ was an important part of the Western European culture that took over America. He over simplifies what happened. He ignores the darker aspects of that take over. But Graham correctly identifies those positive contributions of Christianity over the years. Too bad those positives got betrayed so often and selfish ambition corrupted the Godly instincts that Graham highlights.

  5. SHAME ON YOU, Franklin, for tarnishing your family's legacy and shilling for the wrong kind of king. We have withdrawn all support to all associated organizations and have urged others to do so as well. There's LOTS of charities out there that don't undermine our constitutional republic.

  6. Thr reverend chose faith. Who could have seen that coming?

I am glad he has his faith. And that others do as well.

But 1st of all, he just means the Christian faith. And then onlyas he himself defines it. Secondly, that last line, about EVERY life. He absolutely wants every person to have to live by the values he associates with HIS faith.

I know I will probably hear from some people who don't want this to be true, but we have an intentionally secular government in this country. We DO, for the most part, have freedom of religion, although some people have tried to ban people who practise religions they don't like. But part of that freedom is the freedom to practice (or NOT) as we each & all choose.

I truly wish that was what Graham was endorsing, but sadly it was not.

  7. From Wikipedia: "In November 2016, [Franklin] Graham told The Washington Post that God had played a role in Donald Trump's election as U.S. president, saying: 'I could sense going across the country that God was going to do something this year. And I believe that at this election, God showed up.'" Apparently, "God" is a poor judge of character.

  8. Throw up! He is despicable and the phoniest Christian, no…”pretend Christian” ever. To be clear: he’s entitled to his political beliefs, like all of us. But to wrap them or entwine them with Christianity, makes him one reprehensible human being.

  9. What else did "people of faith" do when they got over here? Abused the indigenous people by slaughtering them and displacing them to undesirable land. Shipped slaves over here as property from Africa to do all hard labor for richer people. Franklin is misguided and his conscientious father is spinning in his grave.

  10. Fundamentalist Evangelicalism has primed believers for decades to follow TV evangelist grifters, fake healers, end-time apocalyptic fetishists and mega-church personality cults. All of which mirrors Trump. This is the symbiotic marriage of religious corruption and grifting to political corruption and grifting. The shallowest of both worlds conjoined in spiritual bankruptcy, scandal and corruption. One can find the trajectory of both and paralleling each other in tandem for decades. The rise of Fundamentalist Evangelicals, the corresponding corruption and sex scandals and Trump's, with TV evangelist grifters, feathering their nest … and that of their nepo-babies … with million dollar mansions and jets, while living the life of the rich and famous. Ditto Trump. It was "The Art of the Deal" on both sides of the same coin … Business corruption and scandal, and "The Art of the Religious Con," where phony religious personalities scammed their followers, just as Trump scammed those he hired. It was like they were operating from the same playbook. Franklin Graham is an intellectual lame, a religious nepo-baby, cashing in on his father's legacy … and hooking more gullible believers to follow the political grifter, thus marrying religious influence to political power, which is all that Franklin Graham has left, in his dwindling bag of credibility … and the absence of a moral, spiritual and ethical compass.

  11. Highest rated late night program which speaks truth to power? Cancelled!
Snake oil salesman with limited appeal and zero respect for The Constitution? Give him a segment on 60 Minutes!
    Financial decisions I'm sure.

  12. What?? What is up with you 60 Minutes? America was not founded and built on religion. Just because it was a phony holiday you feel the need to feature this propaganda nonsense? Why can't we hear from an atheist who knows and has the guts to share the factual reasons why this country provides aid? Or is that not warm and fuzzy like the fantasy religion provides of a god who cares?

  13. CBS news, once the standard for fair news now puts Franklin Graham, christian nationalist, on 60 minutes to give us religious instruction. Alias, chief Trump religious supporter. We are in deep trouble when a Graham abandons true religious teachings and becomes a true bootlicker. What would Jesus do????
