Taliban Regime Systematically Excludes Women from Public Life in Afghanistan

Date:

Since the Taliban regained control of Afghanistan, a series of increasingly restrictive decrees has systematically excluded women and girls from public life. These regulations have severely curtailed basic freedoms, including access to education, employment, and public spaces. International observers and human rights organizations continue to express concern over the escalating crisis, which has effectively isolated Afghan women from society and dismantled two decades of progress in women’s rights.

  • Girls are banned from attending secondary schools, and women are prohibited from receiving higher education at universities.
  • Women have been barred from working in most sectors, including for non-governmental organizations and the United Nations.
  • Access to public spaces, including parks, gyms, public baths, and beauty salons, has been entirely restricted for women.
  • New rules mandate strict dress codes, requiring women to cover their faces in public, and restrict travel without a male chaperone.

  1. It should be the 50 plus Muslim countries who needs to hold a fellow Islamic Muslim country Afghanistan accountable.

However they always wait for Western countries to solve problems for them. What's newww with Muslims, lol.

  2. Yet the BBC, and its Left Wing newsreaders, support the illegal migrants arriving by boat every day who hold these views. Go to somewhere like Small Heath in Birmingham, that is the future.

  3. The west has tried using military force for 20 years and that couldn't go on.

The best way to fix this would be countries to offer an easy way for women to get asylum and live in another country. If all the women who were at the right age to start a family went overseas, then Afghanistan's population would suddenly come down and the Taliban would have to deal with it.

  4. The BBC is pretending to care about human rights again, even though they got exposed for trying to cover up the US War Crime in Minab & now rejected the invitation to visit the College Dormitory that was targeted by the Ukrainian terrorist & killed 21 kids in Lugansk.

  5. "When you lie wounded and dying on Afghanistans plains, and the women come out to cut up what remains, roll to your rifle and blow out your brains and go to your God like a soldier". Rudyard Kipling 1890. Says it all really.

  6. It’s impossible that this kind of law is from God because God is fair and impartial, this 7th century law is just invented by men who want to dominate society and justify their lust and pedophilia, it must be stopped and whoever doing it must be tried in the international criminal court.

  7. Let these people live however they want…. As long as they are not causing the rest of the world, let them live in whatever caveman,

Who are you to moral Police these guys?

Let’s live & let them live
