Israel has never honored a ceasefire. Never.
oh well 🤷♂️
The USA violates the ceasefire by attacking lebanon lets fix the title .
mm, despite the ceasefire? Really?
Israel breaches ceasefire, Iran closes Hormuz
Your title is misleading!!
Shame on you, France 24!
Fire did not cease
*Due to Israel breaking ceasefire. Fixed it for you.
its not despite, if the primary condition is not fulfilled! intentionally deceptive title not to mention factually false
No one is surprised by this, right?
Netanyahu doesn't want peace so he will always sabotage even if Trump agrees to something.
trump looks so weak. he started the war and now he is begging iran to end it basically giving them anything they want just so trump can get some distorted win.
Can't wait till Monday 😮
They are still killing and bombing. So yes close it until they comply or they won't comply.
I applaud the Iranians for standing up for the Palestinians and the other people in Lebanon
IF Israel discontinuing it's action in Lebannon was part of the terms of the deal with the US THEN given that Israel is not a party to the deal, it was foolish of Trump and the US negotiators to have accepted these terms to be in the deal. How are they going to prevent Israel from continuing with their campaign in Lebanon? The US could stop supplying them missiles and other military hardware, especially for their Iron Dome, but that wouldn't prevent Israel from carrying on in Lebanon, at least in the short term. How else will the US hold back Israel? It would be ridiculous to expect the US to act militarily against Israel. Withhold financial help to Israel? Maybe, but Israel is not known to be so heavily reliant on this financial help that they are forced to end their military campaign in Lebanon, which is an action they perceive is counter to their security needs. Sanctions? I don't think the US would do that. What else are the ways that the US can rein in Israel? And in the absence of a mechanism (and the will) to rein in Israel, wasn't it foolish of the US to have this part be in the terms of the deal with Iran?
What ceasefire? Isreal killed over 100 people in last 24 h
A stupid deal where all parties weren't involved
Terrible title but I gotta say that the reporting is leagues better than the BBC which was essentially "Israel is just defending itself… in Southern Lebanon…"
They make the mistake of thinking they are in charge of anything 9:03
Monday market spike as usual
If you read Albert pikes book morals and dogma. You'll know the goal is to make this a forever war to install a one world government.
I'll be back in 5 minutes, hope it's open by then
If this deal threatened Israel, Israel will use Lebanon invasion to break the deal and it's happening now.
First this war was a disaster of operation. Now it’s a disaster in surrender. Trump is trying to surrender and can’t even do that.
You know, I can’t help but realise why Iran wants nukes so bad. How on earth can Iran guarantee their own safety with a loose cannon like Israel nearby that even America can’t manage
2/3of weapons from United States but they don’t agree with the United States. United when to war to protect them but they disagree with United States
It would appear that the Son-in-law will be a thorn in the peace negotiations
🇮🇷 🇺🇸
I knew it wouldn’t take long before it to be blocked again after several ships were at first allowed through when the deal was signed
It's a double cross and a betrayal by Israel. It claims not to be bound by the MOU but it was Netanyahu who convinced US to start this war. Now it wants to continue to destroy the world economy in order to illegally invade Lebanon.
Iran wants to sacrifice itself for hezbullah 😂
closed is it? and how is that done?
Iran really plays the US
Uh uh uh uh uh uh uhhhhhhhhh 😂
What a surprise. I'm so shocked. Totally shocked. 🙄
Iran made it clear that the Strait of Hormuz would close again, or remain closed, as long as they and Lebanon were being attacked by either the US or Israel. Trump may have stopped his attacks but Netanyahu continues to attack Lebanon despite Trumps appeal to Israel end their conflict. Trump backing Netanyahu war against Iran and Lebanon has loosed a 'dragon' that Trump cannot put back in the box.
It's time for trump to grow a pair and destroy this regime that keeps crippling the world's economy and sending the world into a massive recession
what happened with the epstein files?
Why are they still talking to Iran when Iran is sending the world into a deep recession by blocking oil and other essentials by closing Hormuz again
Iran needs to tell Hezbollah to stop as well
The headline should be Israel destroys peace deal by continuing to illegally bomb Lebanon
