  1. I am in my 70's and the UK has always had wildfires, it is a natural event that leads to regeneration of the land.
This Climate Change rubbish has got to stop. Even NASA states that their satellites show the world becoming greener and my garden and my surroundings in the UK are proof of this.

  2. So stop geoengineering! That might help. Far too much messing around with nature and climate. But It's not the climate causing fires. It's numpties who don't realise that summer dries out vegetation and do stupid things. Jeez, don't fall for the propaganda.

  3. It's not just climate causing these wildfires, but also really stupid people. I live near the Dovestoves and Tintwistle moorland fires and it's been 3 weeks so far. The Dovestoves one is more recently with a stupid person letting off fireworks in a landscape that is like kindling. And it's very windy here, all around the moors, people who live here, know this and most normal people know what not to do. I sincerely hope the firework idiot was a tourist.

  4. BBC shoving the 'climate change' crap down our throats before telling us anything of note. One 'electric' car burning pollutes more than a forest of trees from 'global' warming.

  5. Are they saying that the sun caused the fire? Vegetation etc. Combusts at around 300 C. If it ever got that hot everything would burst into flame, including people, These fires are stated by people ,deliberately, accidentally or carelessly. Lightning or suns rays through glass can ignite dry vegetation. But the weather is not causing fires.

  6. The sun cannot cause fires , it needs to reach 300 c . People start nearly all fires. A bright sunny winters day could see fires start if the suns rays is magnified through glass etc.

  7. BBC, why did you refuse to show the Reform press conference discussing the death of Ann Widdecombe and the threats made to other Reform members? Even Sky showed it. Left wing bigots!
