  1. AI is the shittification of society. We need to fully reject automation at every level to restore our consumer rights. Jobs for call centre agents, mediators/moderators etc. and a fair system for sellers.

  2. I was just with a friend a couple of days ago when she tried to look something up on vinted and found that her account had been banned. And she hadn’t even bought anything on there for a year. She’d been banned while logging out and with the app uninstalled for her phone

  3. I used to buy a lot from Vinted, then out of the blue they said they had detected fraudulent activity and permanently banned me. They basically accused me of being a criminal. Customer service said "there's nothing we can do"

  4. Vinted was spammed on YouTube not long ago. Seems like they care more about the bottom line of big corporations by forbidding "counterfeit" items. In case those are not as durable as the originals, it's not so bad because 1) customer bought the item used, and 2) it cost only two pounds or a similar low price.

  5. Who cares. The public sector pay rises are far more than the Private sector meaning a total collapse is now inevitable. Everybody in the Uk must prepare for it in whatever way they can.

  6. I tried to sell a pair of authentic gucci boots on there and included a photo of the serial number, dust bags etc and it deleted the post with no opportunity for me to review it said I was selling fake item and I refused to go to the effort of reloading the ad and deleted the app. Not having this bs.
