Reform UK is facing increased scrutiny following questions surrounding the transparency and legitimacy of its political donations. The controversy focuses on whether the party adhered to UK electoral funding regulations, including vetting processes for donors and campaign contributions. While political opponents argue that the donation row raises integrity concerns ahead of key electoral contests, party leadership maintains that all financial contributions have been handled in compliance with Electoral Commission rules.
- Questions have emerged regarding the sources and vetting procedures of recent donations received by Reform UK.
- The controversy centers on whether contributions satisfied the legal requirements established by the UK Electoral Commission.
- Critics argue that the issue undermines the party’s anti-establishment messaging and governance credibility.
- Reform UK officials have rejected allegations of wrongdoing, asserting that all received funds comply with existing electoral laws.

Im not sure how i got through 4 minutes of this vacuous drivel but i have much better things to do than watch any more
Listen to your family Nigel…
Reform are making people lose faith in politicians and the reporters are making people lose faith in the press
Chris. That wasn't a big conference because the attendance was low. That kind of attendance level of under 7000 is similar to a party like the Lib Dems who are polling at half the % rate. As for the mood being so bright, virtually nobody says that. Some left before Farage's speech today and The Spectator's own political reporter described faces in Birmingham as ashen.
This will drive votes for reform just watch.
The public know that the other parties particularly Labour will have done worse than Reform so anything that is thrown at Reform won't really dent their support. Lets face it theres hardly been a week since Labour came to power when they weren't caught up in sleaze or rule breaking. Its 2026 not 2006 the public are now wise to how the establishment work and a huge chunk of the public do not trust the BBC.
You can hardly call it work can you
Someone walking passed with a pint > Nadine
£5 million bung now "donations", Reform are sliding down that greasy poll
🙏🙏🙏
Clearly Labour and the Tories are worried.
BBC, couldn’t believe a word they say
All this MSM 'outrage' about Reform and I just had a quick look through the donations made to Labour in the last few years and immediately found:
£1 million donated by an Indian Steel magnate.
A donation of £25,000 by the Labour Party of Australia.
£4 million donated by a finance company that operates in Singapore, USA and London.
I'm sure there are lots more judging by the number of Asian and other foreign names.
I'll be looking at the Tories next.
The uniparty appears to be getting desperate to find anything it can to try to bring Reform down whilst forgetting that it has done the very things it accuses Reform of.
3 Overpaid BBC Love-ees
As a Norwegian (having worked with UK soldiers, white-water rafting guides, UK scientists, and studying in the UK), I honestly think that the Norwegian government made the biggest mistake ever with the frigate deal.
The German submarine deal made sense. Any deal with the UK is extremely risky (since everything the UK wants is to be angry). It was stupid of Norway to sign it – we should have understood that the UK want Farage – similar to the US voters wanting Trump. The UK has – after all – always had a "special repationship" – and we should have stayed way away from that "special relationship"
I do think that the German connection centred around submarines makes way more sense than the UK trying to to figure out post-Russian oligarch cash from decades ago.
Vote Republican and Conservative – fine British values – stand up at the Dover cliffs in black hoodies – crave a wall. I hope you join the US and leave our mistake mostly muted.
Of course the UK is happy to embrace Russian money – we watch football over here…you love oligarch money and watching the cost of a flat explode in London – dear Britons – it is profit in that. If anything, the UK was ahead of the Trump/MAGA curve – UK has a special relationship.
No doubt the BBC Politics team will give him the best chance at emerging from yet another scandal
I'd take your own chairs to the next one!
If Brexit meant we would take our country back why is he worried about terminals decline?
Farage was active in a conspiracy to break electoral law. The sting was merely the tool employed to demonstrate his, and Reform’s corruption. He will end up in court over this, but he'll resign first. Result.
Billionare benefit claimant
🚬🐸🍺💰
This sting is a defamation lawsuit in the waiting.
Farage's 'frankly I wasn't listening' reply was, to me, an utter cop-out excuse that doesn't hold water! As Leader, he is responsible for every 'announcement' by Reform officials (whether former or current) – though he's entitled to declare opinions/acts by ex-Officials as 'not related' to official Reform policy/acts!
Nobody in the real world gives two hoots about your non story, BBC.
They are bothered about the fact that Britain is on the verge of bankruptcy
"Vichy-France 🇫🇷 with reform☣💩 🇬🇧 ..All = 🔥=💀..😢.
🇪🇺🤕💚
It's a lie that he wasn't listening – he was actively engaged in the conversation and making specific relevant points. Hopefully the police investigation will lead to him being prosecuted and sentenced as the law is strong on soliciting overseas donations (even if they don't end up happening).
The sooner people stop paying for TV licence s the better
I thought Laura would be there ! Stirring the pot, 💩, Best conference I’ve ever listened to . We all knew that the government and media would come up with something to try and ruin it !Thought it would be the BBC but then channel 4 are just as bad . ISNT IT TIME YOU TOOK THE KNIVES OUT OF THE BACK OF NIGEL. Why don’t you check out all the uni parties!
He should resign and be arrested
I think the footage of women being physically assaulted with sticks, their hair being pulled, being shoved to the ground should be as damaging as illegal donations and £5 million bungs
BBC suckers
the extreme left violent feelth at the bbc are insane with hate and malice
I hope I live long enough to see every sick criminal at the bbc hung
Not crazy on his choice of suit color, are you?
Brexit, and the gift of the small boats via farrage and putin.
Reform ? NO CHANCE
Weasel fud, annoying tory fud and new fud.
It is the BBC who should be worried
Your licence fee money will be cut off soon!
The reform party is over so grab your coat and don't disturb the neighbours on your way out
Thank you BBC…I WILL NOW BE VOTING FOR REFORM.
The bbc is a farage enabler, they haven't focused on farage's blatant money laundering caught on camera for all to see. Farage should have been made to resign for his illegal actions but msm like the bbc haven't even suggested that at all. Colluding with these crooks who also serve the zios.
10:02 'the first 100 days' in prison.
Farage says "he wasn't listening"
How, just how do you keep making it worse, and looking even more stupid, weak, i dont have the words.
If this was any other party they would be finished but because its this cult they get to carry on spreading their division and hate alongside the Greens
