Where there is nothing to show, watch the plastic and plaster shows.
The show is nothing more than performative empathy and platitudes disguised as profound insights.
Singaporeans are raised in a culture that stifles creativity and independent thought through strict conformity and constant state messaging.
Example just look at China Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), lead the world in raw patent volume, particularly in cutting-edge fields like artificial intelligence (AI) and materials science.
And the other news on diploma grads to become bus captains.
good evening host🙋🏻❤️
You realise this now??
You morons 😂😂😂
Singaporeans said can drop away PSLE and NS as well
We have been talking about PSLE for almost twenty years, MOE has tried many methods, Parents has participated in the change but yet still taking about PSLE..
Yes, every school is a good school, but the fact that not every student has the same aptitude and abilities while syllabus os the same for all schools!
So I suggest MOE with parents agreement to split the PSLE into PSLE A & PSLE B so students and parents can choose which PSLE path the children want to take
MOE syllabus remains the same, delivery remain the same, every student given opportunity to excel to the great they can.
The change is only on the Examinations Questions..nothing been shortchange, fundamentals must be tested so they meet the min. Cruterya toove into secondary education.
The New PSLE will be split into PSLE type A and PSLE type B. So at the end of P6, Students and Parents choose which PSLE type they wanted to go through base on the students readiness!
Teachers can encourage according to the students abilities but parents should not insist that his or her child must choose PSLE A if the child is only comfortable with PSLE B at this point of their educational journey ..
Let me honest! PSLE A will be for students who aspire and motivated to go to Top Schools so called "Elite Schools" but school fees can be higher unless students won scholarships
For PSLE B, the exams will be mostly comfortable and students should do reasonably well and there are many schools they can choose from and they can move on to secondary schooling and gradually build their potentials as they grow as we understand some or many students did well as they become more mature.
Think about it, this will ease the pressure automatically
Parents don't have to stress on their children and MOE need not keep explaining the rationale to Parents
It is what it is, Every School is a Good School but Not every students has same learning abilities that is a fact..
Think about PSLE A & PSLE B
When one minister counting sheeps cannot resolve the bullying problem.
They just rotate another one to take his place.
And the musicial chair wayang goes on and on.
