I want reparations from Italians for what the Roman Empire did to my Germanic ancestors during hundreds of years of imperialism 🎉
And I also want reparations from the Mongolians for the destruction and crimes caused by Ghengis Khan 🎉

"if Europe considers the matter as if it were over, it needs to take into account the fate that awaits it" HAILE SELASSIE I – God in Flesh
nobody takes the UN seriously anymore
bunch of performative activists
Some former colonial powers, there is some Europeans who were slaves and sold to Middle East. It is idiotic thing to put all European to same category and maybe it is little bit racist against different kind of Europeans. Skin tone, eye colour… based racism can be against Europeans too. Russians were slavers in history.
If the resolution was only about recognizing slavery as a grave crime, all countries would have voted for it. But, no, they added reparations and artifacts restituion which some countires didn't like. The UN should have just made the vote about recognizing slavery as a crime as well as child labor.
This is why Americans don't respect Europeans. You all don't have the stones to vote "no" to reflect your true actual position and behavior on it, but you also don't have the stones to vote "yes" and accept your guilt.
Vote "no" say "you ain't paying a thing you all can kiss my colonizing a**" instead of relying on the US to no vote it for you while to abstain and maintain your performative "enlightenment".
The US should really reintroduce this exact same thing with all the "No" voting nations excluded and make the Europeans have to say it out loud.
What would prince Harry think? He’s a UN speaker.
DW again doesn't ask the opinion of the opposite side. That vote was just a clown show, it cleverly excludes other crimes against humanity and the role of Africans themselves and the slavery from Arabs.
Well many countries in Europe were never colonial powers – see Baltic states Poland etc No clue why they abstained
Very biased video interviewing only one person and a lot of anti white racism and disturbed and excluded facts
