Investigation Details the Murders of Four Foreign Farm Workers in Italy

Date:

The systemic exploitation of foreign agricultural workers in southern Italy remains a critical issue, highlighted by the tragic deaths of four migrant laborers. Under the illegal “caporalato” system, intermediary gangmasters recruit vulnerable migrants for low-wage farm work, housing them in squalid settlements and subjecting them to hazardous conditions. The deaths of these workers have drawn renewed attention to the human cost of cheap agricultural labor, intensifying calls from labor activists and unions for legal reforms, safer transit, and fair wages.

  • Migrant farm workers in southern Italy are often subjected to the illegal “caporalato” system, where gangmasters control recruitment, wages, and transit.
  • The deaths of four foreign laborers have shed light on the dangerous transport and working conditions faced by agricultural workers.
  • Many exploited laborers live in informal, makeshift settlements that lack basic necessities such as running water, sanitation, and electricity.
  • Activists and trade unions are demanding stricter government enforcement of labor laws to eliminate illegal hiring networks.
  • Despite the risks, Italy’s agricultural economy remains highly dependent on seasonal migrant labor to harvest essential crops.

  1. Here in the Netherlands I called one time to report illigal (farm)workers.

They asked me what was the problem and finally said they didn't had time alltough they instantly picked up the phone when I called.

No wonder it gets this far.. if you don't enforce the laws.
Because the case where I called in for was going on for years, the reason I called is because he was also using them.

  2. All of this can be broken down to some form of equation
    To describe energy conversion.
The irony of a flaming murder of 4 people at a refueling station
Over farm labour of strawberries as an example.
All over the artificial measurements of finance .
Is , hard to let go of .

The complexity of humanity ,yet we are in the end just animals ,living ,dying ,n killing / consuming with no reason other than to be .

    No point just be .
