france arrested like 400 people for arson recently; 100 were "minors"
Don't forget to show where all the fires are in US
America, canada, Australia and India. Cursed countries with either Fire or dry season or extreme Flood that washes their houses and everything away. Its even in the bible.
Karma
Canada could have bought 220 canadair water bomber's but we sent the twenty billion to Ukraine to start fires there.
our Martin mars water bomber is in the museum
Heat only dries the fuel load. The fuel load mass is what makes the flames high. Fuel load exists regardless of temperature.
Where is AquaMan when you need him? 💦🌊💧
For people who live in larger communities, many of them seem to be resigned to the idea that this is all normal
– Middle Eastern nations should consider joining a defense alliance (comprising Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Pakistan) to strengthen collective defense capabilities.
– Wealthy oil-exporting nations should BUY weapons manufacturing technology FOR both domestic and export needs.
My sister lives there and im going to visit next year 😢😢
Thank you for covering our province @DW News!
The situation is growing more dire as winds pick up and we are experiencing dry lightning strikes.
I would like to personally thank Mexico for sending hundreds of firefighters without hesitation to fight alongside our own, with the hopes of saving as many properties, and livelihoods as possible. That's what neighbours do for each other – something I will never forgive the angry orange monkey and his minions for neglecting.
We have already lost one life in this fire who couldn't outrun the flames, along with brave BC firefighters who died fighting blazes in the US.
We need all the help we can get.
To answer his last question, yes every little bit that everyone does helps.
There is no such thing as a wasted effort.
She gave him our reality here very well.
What does Israel say?
super el niño, super vulcano, super advanced ai, .. like americans wonder each beginning of the month how fast time passed, although we see, we humans seem super slow and super resistant to evolving better than to capitalism, still while the world basically burns we favor building ai data denter and rest of resources for high sophisticated weapons that blow up into bloody dust, yes we humans are also super..
There always those who speak about Net Zero and climate change…and they all have at least 1 car per family. Or people who care about nature, but they go out and about driving. Good stuff. Net Zero is the stuff of fairytales, change your story, and plan more realistically in delaying climate change.
If The World continue do nothing about Climate change, this kind of Disaster will keep happen. Abandon USA and works with China, SEA and EU. This is last warning,
Granted it is absolutely tragic. Managed monoculture tree farms contribute to fires- thus causing climate change. One thing to remember is that forest fires are natural- some tree species actually require fire to initiate germination of seeds. With managed forests the last 100 years, fires have been suppressed by human action. Forest diversity is also suppressed- there are less forests and more and more tree farms with one tree type that are absent of moist green matter on the forest floor that would mitigate fire damage. Tree farming uses herbicides to destroy the forest floors. In essence the water storage sponge is gone. When drought or excessive heat occur, previous protections are absent. Also, homes have been built rather recently in areas that don't have adequate fire protection. There are many contributing factors unrelated to climate change that has exacerbated the catastrophes of late. A perfect storm, sadly. Once the forests are gone, the rain has no impetus to fall. Forests actually make it rain! Tree farm management is the problem, not the answer. As a side note, tree farms do much less to support wildlife.
Poor forest management policies, and nut jobs with matches are more to blame than climate or El Nino.
Many thanks to the 600 firefighters from Mexico, Australia and New Zealand as well as those from the Yukon, Alberta and Quebec that have been deployed to British Columbia to help us out.
Karma, drought and high winds 😮😮
canada burns Canadians lose their home in Carney pays out condo developers and sends your tax dollars to help Africa countries not you
you should most definitely eat more red meat it will help so much and then you can do a rain dance while driving your electric car. This will put all the moisture back in the plants and stop the arsonists.
burn baby burn
Greta Thunberg was right, world is on fire. If temperate rainforests are susceptible to wildfires, how can the rest of the world handle it?
