Money is running out in weaks – At least we had a taxcut for billionaires. DJTrump
If this happened in 1990 the whole World would be focused on that matter
We are facing too many complex problems, all at once
Quarantine the entire country, nothing in, nothing out and let it run its course?
If no aid is sent, eventually the outbreak will run its course and burn itself out do its rapid spread will it not?
Perhaps it will eventually lead to herd immunity?
Perhaps the disease will evolve and become less lethal if allowed to run its natural course?
Will human intervention make matters better or worse?
There are people with enough money in their personal bank accounts to fund this. I wonder what the karmic payback is for standing by watching thousands, maybe millions, die.
Unbelievable. SMH 🙄
The Congolese government needs to do more to explain to their people the severity of this outbreak. It seems the communities are distrusting of the medical workers and want to continue with their cultural bereavement practices which contributes to the spread. They need to listen to someone in order to get this thing under control. Empathy has a breaking point and these people will be doomed if the international aid workers just leave them.
We don’t trust you anymore, after all the fiasco over Wuhan virus the confidence in UN, WHO and all the others is zero….
they need to isolate better
The problem is the level of ignorance of the local communities. They still believe in superstitions and that ebola is not real. We are their closest Ugandan border nei bors.
close the border and contain it.
It's going to get a lot worse before it gets better unfortunately. I'm not concerned about it for western countries, it's not airborne but in a war torn nation it's a big issue.
the overpopulation is not helping…
There’s always a viral outbreak within a month or two of US midterm elections. Weird.
This is the perfect storm for this disease and unfortunately it will kill tens of thousands maybe even hundreds of thousands .
If it is growing that fast, then it's no accident.
These poor people and their loved ones.
Flights are not stopped
Borders stay open
No one is quarantined
There is zero control
Urgent News you won't see on American Media! Ask Republicans what their Contingency plan is?
With Monoclonal Antibodies they've seen good results, so; why is it spreading?
I see a lot of plants of a certain type where people might smoke them together.
Sharing smokes should be forbidden at the moment. I'm not sure people think this could be a way of transmission.
I'm sure the 55 nations of the African Union will all step forward and suitably fund a response, won't they? It's in their best interests.
God blesses the peoples of Africa ..
It's more like 25 000 deaths. Not 2500. Tell the truth.
This time, charge a little money for the vaccine if it jumps into the States. 20000 a shot. 😊
How much money is the DRC government contributing?
Close the borders
