  1. I just started crying when their daughter said she wouldn’t tell how she received those marks on her feet for fear some sick person would mimic such deranged behavior.
I’m so grateful my parents were very loving and compassionate.

  2. The interviewer should be ashamed how she is ssking questions clearly exploiting those children to the audience. What good is that for them to give details about their sexual abuse that is disgusting?

  3. I could t finish this. This is absolutely awful. And to think that not, a single person reported the parents. Disgusting and shameful. I am speechless.

  4. I dont why someone did not try to help these kids. The teachers neighbors even back then I am sure people noticed their was something going on with the children. Very sad

  5. I did not knew this case but now this childrens are gonna be in my heart and prayers.

Abuse is a very disgusting thing… Imagine this horrors… My blessings for them. I have no words.

  6. Folks need to remember back in the 1960s and 70s that child abuse like this was not talked about the way it is now. Unfortunately, many, many children were abused, both physically and sexually and no one didn't do anything. Nowadays we are so much more aware of the signs of abuse. I sincerely hope that these kids/young adults were able to get the psychological treatment in order to help themselves as adults and future parents.

  7. I’m dumbfounded by the number of people who are not aware in the comments of the Fred and Rose West or their 10 children, this story was aired around 20yrs ago but this story went global in the mid 90’s and is sadly one of the most recent serial killer couples.

  8. If the poms were as curious with their ears as they are with their cameras , do you think that when the young lad told authorities , that it could have saved lives ??????

    Muppets.

  9. “Do you want us to arrest your parents? No? Well, alrighty then… carry on.”

That was mind numbing. To just send a 13 year old home for more abuse because he was too scared to ask for help.

    Get another job.

  10. There’s no way the neighbours couldn’t have noticed all these guys trooping in and out the place.

Maybe we’re just more community minded where I live🤷‍♂️
How do any of the authorities who worked during this time Live with themselves and how is the local council not legally/financially responsible?

The reason I ask the last bit is because the only way things will change is if you attack these ‘people’ the ONLY thing they care about: their money and jobs!

    Consequences

That would stop this thing happening again… If it’s not already happening right now somewhere in the UK

  11. Lord there must be a special place in hell for those two.
Those kids sitting there remembering just a slice of the hell their parents put them through. My heart breaks for them. But still, I'm so thankful they have the strength to not let the past define them.
I can only say prayers for them, send love and virtual hugs.
This needs to come with tissues.
