I was 23 and had just quit my job the week before, so I was at home (I live in Texas). A friend called me right after the second tower was hit and told me to turn on my TV. It felt like I was watching a movie- it was just horrible. I talked to a lot of family and friends that day- everyone just wanted to hear their loved ones’ voices.

I was 14 and watched the second plane hit on the tv in our classroom after a teacher came in and said a plane hit the WTC.
Never forget, and I have a great appreciation for the first responders and what they did to help bring us out of this tragedy and all that they endured, and what they still endure. They are indeed heroes, along with the deceased ones.
