  1. If my brother knocked me down, broke my necklace, shoved me into a dog bowl that broke and cut my back, HELL YES! I'd be calling the local police dept and prosecuting the stupid SoB. What is it with these British Royals who think that they can act any way that they choose and no one can say, "Stop!" What is it with British journalists who can invade private citizens' privacy and walk away collecting money rather than recounting every dirty lie they've told? And the he said/she said among the Royal Family. That's absolutely true. How do I know? It's true in every day, commoner families as well. Brothers fight, sisters-in-laws lie when they're caught out. It happens. It's too bad but it isn't without consequence.
Personally, I thought they'd been blessed to have Meagan and her refreshing ways versus all that same old, SAME OLD stupid, drunken BS. Easy peasy from my point of view. But then again, we were exiled in 1745 and never looked back. I'll be glad to see a Jacobite on the British throne. I'll not be glad of another tyrant as William seems to be. We judge people by what they say and what they actually do versus what is written about them from someone who does not know. I think the knock down, drag out happened and I think that William showed us he is truly as uncontrolled as his father Charles and his uncle Andrew. Thank you very much.

  2. The King is unwell and undoubtedly wants to see his grandchildren, whom he's not even seen for 4 years. Also, the US is mad as hell and not a safe place to grow up. Plus, I'm sure Harry misses home.

  3. Really good discussion, thank you, BBC. I cannot help but think this will undermine the monarchy in some shape or form. I also think, despite the unexpectedness of it all, it seems quite calculated on their part. When Harry talks about his family, we all think of the Royal family, King Charles etc. But I'm sure he also means his mother Diana's family, the Spencers. And in that regard, it will be the 30th anniversary of his mother's death next year. What are they planning ?? It is a v tricky situation for the Royal family, and esp William & Katherine.

  4. Trying to protect your children is a long game. When Archie and Lilly in any country in a few years will be learning all about more than any child's life needs. They may want to stop making crap that someday the two won't have protection when they have to face online and interviews mom and dad made while "protecting " those dear children who will grow up and possibly rebel

  5. Harry did not BELIEVE that the risk to himself needed a high level of security.
The Counterterrorism Unit of the Metropolitan Police had assessed his need as high, but RAVEC rejected the findings of the experts.
Harry sued the Home Office to be allowed to pay for his security.

  6. I loved the way this was laid out. Not really taking sides, but giving us an opportunity to weigh in on it. positively or negatively. The media acts like this family has slautered a country and now wants to come back. Two sides to weigh in on. God love em, God bless em.

  7. People forget that there’s the ultimate weapon in all these reconciliation talks. The cousins. Say all you want but Harry and William know how powerful those bonds between cousins are and at some point, very soon, will consider putting their differences aside for the sake of their children.
