Just a little curious that the 2026 was declared Super El Niño. Wasn’t it? And why would someone plan to summit a mountain peak? Just curious.
Thanks bbc ❤
Rip nims dai
U have died but you are alive and inspire lot of people including me
This is so sad, may all rest in peace in their beloved mountains ❤
I never experienced nor understood nor fancied the joy of conquering great heights.
After watching the docu of Nima in netflix, I truly admire his mind of steel and his knowledge and respect to the mountains!
But I think the mountains have become too dangerous to go close now since we human had been and continue doing all the wrong things to the mountains! The massive avalanche that buried Nim and the whole team was a warning signal which was ignored! And later came this avalanche induced mudslide which wiped out villages and killing thousands of lives.
Our desire to possess, to consume, to enjoy certainly makes the globe warmer, and causes many living beings suffer
RIP Nims Dai! Our national pride!❤❤
Keep doing what you both loved, go further man
This is sad, im sorry for the loss of Nima, but at the same time these ppl and this guy they interviewed to come get him was heartwarming in the end. Bless those of you that went after Nima and the other two.
Acts, and consequences…
Our prayers are always with them. Rest in peace guys.
NIMA Purja???

Some of the toughest men on earth, but look how the incident has broken him from the inside. It is as if the fire has gone out of him.
God bless you and your family and thank you for all the effort to bring them home.
Can we stop doing these things, may their soul rest in peace and may their families find comfort in this time 😢
I think they were lucky that they were able to find these bodies in all that snow that has fallen. Could have been impossible mission .
Legends never die. You will always be in our hearts.

My heart is shattered once more by watching it. I can feel the pain and how much the rescue has deeply impacted Mingma G for live. The sadness in his eyes says it all. May all the lost souls and affected families find peace in some way.
Thank you for Mingma G and his team for risking your lives to bring your friends back home. But one more lost soul is still waiting to be brought home on Broad Peak💔
Apart from personal glory there isn’t really much point in doing these types of expeditions. Hubris.
Mingma G., your dedication to bringing the bodies down from the mountain was a true act of love.
True mastery lies in knowing when to yield to the heights.
Rest in peace brothers
The lesson is to not disrespect your own life and put others at risk.
Mingma 🫡🌷
Thanking Mingma G! also I don’t understand Mingma G saying ‘if they were not on the rope, they might have survived!’ How could that be possible ?
Nims sexually assaulted womenthat he was hired to help climb, he also invaded climbers doing there dream to first winter ascend one of the great mountains and inadvertently through his deceptive tactics caused the deaths of some great people. Facts. Nims got his karma. I’m sorry for the others affected. He was a reckless and selfish person.
Mingma G and his team are hero. bring bothers back. Thanks BBC to make this interview.
