And Dementia Donny is trampling over the Constitution.
Without France there would not be a USA.
IF it waskt for France and the Netherlands, the US wouldnt exist. Also Trump is the president that destroyed the US constitution.
We need more undocumented immigrants.
“Corn on the cobs”
We thank both France and Spain for their help. We know the story very well.
What a wonderful interview. I could listen to this man all day. Thank you, F24, for such a great conversation.
Most Americans want the dementia conman in prison and to get the puppet politicians working for the megacorporations out of the government and investigated.
Trump – the best president of the US )
Educated Americans understand without French help, the American Revolution would have been a completely different affair – but almost every American knows that without the US in Europe during WW2, France would probably be speaking German.
We would thank the French, but I don’t think either of us like each other now so it’s no real point in doing it lol
Quote of the day by Seneca: “The greatest wealth is a poverty of desires”
Thank you, France!
Incredible history lesson. Thank you, Professor Young.
I’m sorry, but you give far too much credit to the people of the United States. This is not a mirror moment. In fact in a recent Cato Institute survey 46% of Americans could not specify what occurred 250 years ago. All of the Republican dominated states are busy rewriting school curricula to remove any possibilities of actually looking in the mirror. The Republican Party is busy removing any evidence of the achievements of black and brown people and women. I appreciate your optimism, but the reality on the ground is actually quite different.
We owe men like Rochambeau and Lafayette unending gratitude, as well as the Frenchmen they brought to America to help in our struggle.
We’re fine here in the US doesn’t matter who’s in office they all get the boot left right left right always moving forward. Thank you France for helping us get on our feet we will never forget🇫🇷 🇺🇸 🙏 🎉
Can only raise an empty glass because most of us cant afford what goes inside.
Yes, I will raise a glass to Lafayette, even Rochambeau and the King, but not to modern France and Macron. I'll raise a middle finger.

This has been a lovely, refreshing thoughtful, honest interview, the best involving an American being interviews fo months – and it happened with an Englishman working for a French News atation so that those who live there, whose French can't keep up, can have the news in English.
The presenter is isinterviewing an American, an academic. He listens. At appropriate moments, he asks a carefully constructed question, a genuine question. He wants to know, to understand. And the response is thoughtful, truthful, calm. The rapport between the two ia deep and obvious.
Compare this with US news channels…… 🤔
