I’ve been to Dubai staying at the royal meridian hotel in a suite with our own Butler. Service, accommodation, food and wine was as good as I’ve experienced anywhere in the world, however, I could never fathom out why it was free from attack by the fundamentalists who hate western society. The decadence overflows with the state mimicking Las Vegas with its ambience and glitzy facade.
